If you're a graphic designer in the Philippines, you can sell artwork to clients, run your own shirt shop, or upload original designs to a print-on-demand marketplace. At Shawn's Custom, creators earn a commission per sale while we handle printing, shipping and customer service. The right route depends on how much of the business you want to manage.
Selling a design file and selling a printed shirt are different offers. A client buying artwork may need editable files and agreed usage rights. A customer buying a shirt wants a finished product in the right size, delivered to their address. Decide which customer you want to serve before building a catalogue.
| Route | What you offer | What to plan |
|---|---|---|
| Design commissions | Artwork made for a client | Brief, revisions, file delivery and usage terms |
| Your own shirt shop | Finished shirts under your brand | Pricing, orders, printing arrangements, delivery and support |
| Designer marketplace | Shirts featuring your uploaded artwork | Original designs, listing presentation and commission terms |
Our designer marketplace is for creators who want their artwork sold on shirts without holding stock. You upload designs, customers order products featuring them, and we handle printing, shipping and customer service. You earn a commission per sale rather than receiving the whole retail price of the shirt.
The current marketplace commission is 5% of the item amount after discounts, excluding delivery charges. A ₱200 item discounted to ₱180 earns ₱9 commission. Refunded sales earn no commission; partial refunds reduce it proportionally. Rates may change for future sales. Earnings are not guaranteed.
Request payout of earned, unpaid commission at any time. Payouts are reviewed manually and GCash is available. Contact shawnscustomph@gmail.com to confirm available earnings and processing time; the site does not yet show an automated commission balance.
Start with designs that make sense on a shirt: a readable phrase, a clear illustration or a small set with a consistent visual style. You do not need to upload every item in your portfolio at once. A few carefully prepared designs are easier to explain and share.
Open the marketplace to see how designs are presented, then contact us if you need help getting started as a creator. Review your shirt preview, placement and description before sharing a product link. Ask about any onboarding or publishing requirements that are unclear.
If you want to check a physical print first, you can order one custom shirt: there is no minimum, and a printed round neck tee starts at ₱158, front print included. Treat a sample as a cost you choose to take on, rather than assuming future sales will cover it.
Show the artwork, explain the idea behind it and say who it was made for. Share a link to the actual product once it is available. If you use a digital mockup, describe it as a preview; use a real shirt photo when you have one.
You can share your own work on your social pages and in communities that allow it. Read each group's rules, disclose that it is your design, and answer questions honestly. Publishing a listing is a starting point; it does not guarantee that buyers will discover it.
Visit the Designer marketplace from the site menu to browse, and read the policy page before deciding whether the model fits you. For help joining or questions about commission and payouts, email shawnscustomph@gmail.com. Alternatively, buy and resell: collect customer payment directly, add your own markup, and pay Shawn's Custom manually before production. We provide the shirts, printing and Lalamove/J&T delivery arrangements. Branded websites and domains are available by quotation.
You can sell artwork directly to clients, run a shirt shop, or use a designer marketplace. Shawn's Custom lets creators upload designs and earn a commission per sale while the shop handles printing, shipping and customer service.
You do not need to hold shirt stock when selling through the Shawn's Custom designer marketplace. Shirts are printed on demand when customers order.
The current marketplace rate is 5% of the item amount after discounts, excluding delivery. Refunded sales earn no commission. The rate may change for future sales; see the creator terms.
No. Selling artwork to a client involves agreed file delivery and usage terms. A marketplace shirt sale is a physical product order that earns the designer a commission under the platform's terms.
